RYAN.wdの原点は、金属建材を手掛けてきた鉄工所。縞鋼板や側溝蓋など、街の安全を支える堅牢な製品をつくり続けてきました。そのなかで培われたのは、“鉄”という素材への深い理解と確かな加工技術。 その強みを暮らしの中へ活かしたい——そうして生まれたのが、鉄と木を融合させたアイアン家具づくりです。
地元・新潟で採れる県産材を自らの目で選び、鉄の無骨さと木のぬくもりが響き合う一つひとつの作品を、今日も工房から送り出しています。

RYAN.wd's origins are as an ironworks that produced metal building materials. We have continued to create robust products that support the safety of cities, such as striped steel plates and gutter covers. Through this process, we have cultivated a deep understanding of the material "iron" and reliable processing echniques. We wanted to make use of that strength in our daily lives, and that's how we came up with the idea of ​​making iron furniture, a fusion of iron and wood. Even today, we hand-select materials from our hometown of Niigata with our own eyes, and each piece that combines the ruggedness of iron with the warmth of wood is sent out of our workshop today.

The iron material is selected according to the purpose, and the wood is high-quality material produced in Niigata Prefecture, which is harvested directly and dried naturally over time. We also accept orders in 1mm increments and can also specify detailed colors. We quickly respond to adjustments and repairs that may occur over time, and we promise to manufacture products that will last for a long time.
